Company Profile

The founders of the Aviation Academy Austria have been working for companies like Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Lauda Air and Tyrolean Airways for more than 15 years. During this time they have gained extensive experience in flight training, flight operations and the airline business in general. All are licensed flight instructors and have type-ratings such as A320, A330, A340, B747, B777, F70/100 with several thousand hours of flight experience.

AAA Location

The Aviation Academy Austria is located in the heart of Europe — just a 15 minute drive from Vienna International Airport (Schwechat VIE Airport). We can easily be reached from all over Europe as the Vienna Airport is well connected to the major worldwide hubs. Bratislava airport is also within close proximity of our training centre.

AAA Facilities and Services

Our training centre is integrated into a large business complex where additional facilities such as conference rooms, a copy shop, internet services and office space are provided. In total there is approx. 2300 m² space available. A hotel with 170 beds is also located just across the street and we have negotiated special rates for our students and customers with them. Other hotels are located directly on the airport site or numerously available in the city of Vienna.

There is a large shopping complex with all kinds of shops and restaurants located nearby too. For leisure activities we recommend a trip to the Lake Neusiedl, which is a famous Austrian recreational, tourist and wine-growing area only about 10 km south of our location.

AAA Learning Technology and Equipment

The spacious classrooms of AAA are fully equipped for traditional and computer-based training and internet access is readily available to all students. Furthermore, students stay mobile by using laptops and distance learning tools like the integrated JAR-FCL Ab Initio Course provide by NORDIA or specialised CBT course for type-rating.

Simulator training is integral to our Pilot Training Courses. We offer a unique service in the provision of high quality type-rating training and incorporate Standard Operating Procedures of individual airlines into our teaching curriculum.
